Who we are

Luxuri Cars is a chauffeur-driven car service in Bengaluru. Under the DPDP Act we are the Data Fiduciary: we decide why and how your personal data is used. You are the Data Principal, the person the data is about.

What we collect

We only ask for what we need to handle your booking request:

• Your name
• Pickup place, drop place, date and time of travel
• Return date and trip plan, if you share them
• Your phone number, which we receive when you message us on WhatsApp or call us
• The coupon code, if you used one

We do not ask for payment card details, ID numbers or your exact location on this website.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your request, confirm the car, driver and fare, run your trip, and keep a record of the booking. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing. If we ever want to send offers, we will ask you separately first.

How your data moves

When you tick the privacy box and press Send on WhatsApp, your booking details are placed in a WhatsApp message that you send to us. WhatsApp is run by Meta and has its own privacy policy. This website does not save the details you type into the form on any server of ours. Your browser only remembers the coupon code during your visit.

We share trip details with the driver assigned to your booking. We may also share data where the law requires it.

Your consent

Before you send a booking request, we ask you to tick a box to confirm you have read this policy and agree to us using your details for that request. The box is never ticked for you. You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by messaging or calling us. After you withdraw, we will stop using your data and delete it, unless the law says we must keep it.

How long we keep it

We keep booking details only as long as needed to complete your trip and handle any questions or disputes about it, and as long as the law requires. After that we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

• Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
• Ask us to correct wrong or incomplete data, or to update it
• Ask us to erase your data when it is no longer needed
• Get your complaints about your data handled through our grievance contact below
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or cannot do so yourself

You can use these rights by contacting us on the number below. We aim to reply within 7 days.

Children

Our service is for adults. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must make the booking. We do not knowingly collect data from children without a parent or guardian's verifiable consent.

Keeping data safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, such as limiting who can see booking details to the people who need them. If a personal data breach ever affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

If we do not resolve your complaint, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Language and changes

You can ask us for this notice in English or in any language listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India. We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
